Making Art Like Monet

Last Friday the students rolled their sleeves up and got a little messy with paint! We recently learned a bit about the famous French artist and have seen many of his well known paintings. Students took the inspiration to their paper and created their own pieces of art. Miss Lexi helped us to draw our bridges across the paper and pond. Students also watched her demonstrate how to use sponges and our finger tips to add texture to our paintings. The students had fun and the art work not only celebrates Monet, but captures each student's personality as well!
